Bright sparks who head to Swindon motor dealer Pebley Beach on Friday, January 24 can keep themselves and others safer on our winter roads.
In celebration of Bright Day – an initiative organised by the national road safety charity Brake and supported by Suzuki – Pebley Beach is offering 100 vehicle winter health checks worth £20 to Wiltshire drivers, in return for a minimum donation of £5 to the charity.
Dominic Threlfall, managing director of Pebley Beach, said: “Bald tyres, worn windscreen wipers, faulty lights or dodgy brakes can turn your car into a hazard at any time – especially in rain, snow, ice or fog.
“In fact you are nearly three times as likely to have an accident during the winter months.
“That’s why Pebley Beach is offering a comprehensive winter health check. We’ll give you peace of mind that your car is in tip-top condition, and tell you if anything needs to be fixed.”
Brake’s Bright Day is aimed at helping to keep pedestrians and cyclists – especially children – safer during the winter months by promoting the wearing of bright clothing.
And Pebley Beach staff will be wearing bright clothing throughout the day to mark the occasion.
To claim one of the 100 Bright Day winter health checks, whatever the make and model of your car, call 01793 816800 or email info@pebley.co.uk
