Delegates left our Marketing for Beginners course on Wednesday with new skills and ideas to help their businesses grow – and asking for a follow-up course to help them take the next step on their marketing journey.
During the training course, we took the delegates through the basics of marketing, and explained how different aspects of marketing could be applied to individual businesses to boost profits.
Attendees went away buzzing with new ideas and – as Agent Louisa’s ‘confidence board’ demonstrated – a much better understanding of how this marketing malarky works.
On the downside, we sent them back to their offices with homework, and former teacher Louisa will be expecting it on her desk by next Wednesday.
The training was provided to small business owners, sole traders and start ups on behalf of the newly-formed Wiltshire Business Support Service. Support from Wiltshire Council meant that we were able to run the session at a highly discounted rate for delegates.
It was really useful and, as usual with you guys, good fun.
One of the delegates, Androulla Derbyshire from Culinary Capers, dropped us a nice email later to say: “It was really useful and, as usual with you guys, good fun.”
The good news for anyone who missed the first course is that there will be opportunities to receive training in Melksham on June 28, in Chippenham on July 31 and in Marlborough on August 14.
And for business owners who benefit from the Marketing for Beginners course we’re proposing a follow-up session: Marketing – Your Next Step in September.
If you’d like to attend any of these sessions, drop us a line or give us a call. Formal bookings will open soon, and we’ll send details when they do.
